About Vine Academy and Model Farm

Vine Academy and Model Farm (VAMF) is a specialised agricultural training institution dedicated to developing skilled, work-ready professionals in the viticulture and plant production industry. Based on a fully operational model farm, VAMF offers a unique combination of accredited academic learning and hands-on practical experience.

Our programmes include AgriSETA-accredited NQF Level 4 and 5 qualifications in Plant Production, with a specialised focus on viticulture, as well as industry-aligned short courses developed in collaboration with leading agricultural partners. This ensures that our students are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and real-world skills that meet current industry demands.

At VAMF, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students are actively involved in all aspects of farm operations, gaining practical exposure to vineyard management, crop production, and modern agricultural practices. This integrated approach prepares graduates to confidently enter the workforce or further their studies within the agricultural sector.

We are committed to creating opportunities for youth, empowering them with the skills needed to build sustainable careers, and contributing to the growth and transformation of the agricultural industry in South Africa.

• Technical Skills Course Qualifications

Various Technical Skills Courses are offered in support of the official Certificate and Diploma qualifications. The short courses are also offered to farm workers, students and interested producers.
